Publishing channels

aeo channel list
aeo channel add --url "https://www.linkedin.com/company/example" --type linkedin --label "LinkedIn"
aeo channel connect <channel_id>
aeo channel disconnect <channel_id>
Publishing channels are for distribution. Reference analysis is separate: a URL can be analyzed as a style reference without becoming a publishing channel.

Social posts

aeo post analyze --url "https://www.threads.com/@name/post/..."
aeo post import --platform threads --body "Post copy..."
aeo post approve <post_id>
aeo post publish <post_id>
post analyze starts production, credit-metered reference analysis. Writing support for Threads and LinkedIn may depend on the current product build. Treat publish commands as high-risk.

Reference style

Use reference style when the user wants to reuse a tone, hook, format, rhythm, or visual grammar from a URL. reference analyze starts a production, credit-metered job. Ask before running it unless the user already approved the analysis.
aeo reference analyze --url "https://www.instagram.com/p/..." --media visual_asset
aeo reference poll <job_id>
aeo reference style --url "https://www.instagram.com/p/..."
The style brief is task-specific evidence. It should not be treated as a universal brand system prompt unless the user explicitly selects it for repeated use.

Media categories

Current dashboard UX groups analysis into broad reference types:
UI categoryTypical URLs
WebsiteBlog posts, web pages, Shopify pages.
Social postThreads, LinkedIn, Instagram posts with mixed text/image/video context.
Short-formTikTok, YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, MP4 references.
Use these categories for filtering. Keep platform details secondary unless the task depends on a specific platform.
